Set a Test Password
Password protecting a test ensures that students can only take the test at a location where the password can either be entered in or provided to them.
To set a password for a WebTest:
| 1. | Open WebTests under the Assignments tab in the Grade Book. |
| 2. | Select the check box next to the desired test. |
| 3. | Press General Settings. |
| 4. | Select the Password field. |
| 5. | Type the desired password into the field. |
| 6. | Press the Save Changes button. |
This password will be required from any student attempting to take the test. Passwords can be student or section specific.
Note: You can change the password for all sections a test is assigned to by pressing “show” next to Make Bulk Changes, selecting the check box next to Start Date under Sections, changing the password under Make Bulk Changes, and then pressing the Save Changes button.
To set a WebTest password for a student:

| 2. | Select the check box next to the desired test. |
| 3. | Press Student Settings By Test. |
| 4. | Select the Password field. |
| 5. | Type the desired password into the field. |
| 6. | Press the Save Changes button. |
