Edit Scores by Student

Select Edit Scores by Student under the Assignments tab to edit one or more assignment scores for a student.

Note: Scores for lessons can only be entered as dates. This represents the date the student submitted the lesson. In order to edit a lesson score that is lower than 100%, you must first establish a Lesson Late Penalty and then enter the date according to the penalty rules.

Choose the Student to Edit

1.If you are a Course Administrator, select the Instructor.

2.Select the Section.

3.Select the Student from the drop-down list. If the assignment is a multiple attempts test, check the box to view the individual test attempts for View Settings.

4.Choose whether to show all assignments or only those assigned to the student for View Settings.

5.Select the option to display and enter the scores as points or percentages.

You will see all scores for the student. If a student has not completed an assignment, a value of Not Entered will appear in the Points Earned column for that student.

Entering Scores

1.Type the new score in the Enter a New Score column for WebTests and Other Assignments. Type the new date in the Enter a New Score column for lessons.

2.To give full credit for an assignment, press the Full Credit button in the Action column for that student.

3.To clear a score, press the Reset Current Value button in the Action column.

4.Once all of the desired changes have been made, press the Save Changes button.

5.If you are changing many scores at once, press the Save Changes button periodically to save your progress.
